Ronftl: @Piglet: UT2004 runs on my system with the Anti OpenGL 3.3 driver without any issues smoothly at 250 FPS . I set the FPS to 200 as a test, but I think 250 FPS is a suitable FPS number for gaming. My RTX 4060 laptop GPU has no problems at a resolution of 3840x1600 (full details) / 144 Hz /LG UltraWide 38WR85QC-W, 37.5".

TT-Tolyan: Hey, can someone tell me why I can get killed again immediately after unfreezing during a game, while some players are invulnerable for 3 seconds after unfreezing? Can I change this too?

Piglet: Was that the OpenGL renderer (OpenGL 2) or the Anti Renderer (OpenGL 3.3)? If you change the max fps sliders in Settings->Display you may get more frames than 250 if you want them. I have capped at 260.

Ronftl: @ Piglet: Yes, the driver is very fast and I didn't have to change anything in UT2004.ini. When you switch to OpenGL, the renderer is automatically entered in UT2004.ini. A constant 250 FPS with full details speaks for itself. The graphics are very detailed and colorful.

Ronftl: The patch has incredibly improved the flow of the game, subjectively improved the graphics by 50% and also improved the aim accuracy (subjective/approximately 30% ) Except for switching from the d3d9 to the opengl driver (d3d9 was not found), everything worked with the default settings right from the start.

nyrde: I fixed my flat/low quality sound issue with the new patch using the openal alsoft-config: changin the stereo encoding to basic and everything works beautifully. I'm on win 11.

Whitestorm: I recommend to wait for a stable release and back up 3369 version before patching it. Because there are so many AntiTCC servers, we might just lose access.
